[Omaha, NE, February 1, 2025] – Insurate Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jerico Vinsonhaler as its new Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO). With nearly two decades of experience in underwriting leadership, Jerico brings deep expertise in commercial insurance, portfolio strategy, and organizational development.
As CUO, she will guide Insurate’s national portfolio performance and lead the underwriting team as the company continues to scale. Jerico will also play a key role in advancing Insurate’s vision of transforming the workers’ compensation landscape through data and AI technology.

Jerico most recently served as Vice President – Head of Workers’ Compensation at Origin Specialty Underwriters. Prior to that, she held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer at Hourly, a venture-backed insurtech, where she built and scaled the underwriting function from the ground up.
Earlier in her career, she spent over 16 years at Markel, holding various senior leadership roles—including Senior Director of Underwriting and Managing Director of Digital Strategy and Engagement—where she helped lead enterprise-wide underwriting modernization efforts.
